Medical Reserve
Corps (MRC)

What is MRC?

A nationwide initiative of the federal government known as the Medical Reserve Corps recruits medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, paramedics and mental health professionals, as well as citizens with non-medical backgrounds, to volunteer in their community during emergency situations that require a widespread medical or public health response.

The Martin County MRC meets every third Tuesday at 6pm.  To join the Martin County MRC, call the Martin County Health Department at 606-298-7752



Establish teams of non-medical, medical and public health professional volunteers who can contribute their skills and expertise throughout the year and during times of community need.
